The Salt Yoga Studio...

Vinyasa Flow

The flowing nature of the breath is energetically linked with mindful, continual movement and creative sequencing in this Vinyasa class. Based on Fluid Yoga® founded by Kevan Gale, this Vinyasa Flow also emphasizes heat-building to increase strength and flexibility, while training the mind to be more content and relaxed when faced with difficult challenges on and off the mat.

Classical elements are the inspiration as we become grounded and refine our balance with the earth, explore flowing movement and grace like water, ignite fire within our bodies through core strengthening and detoxification, and empower the air flowing within us through breath control and mind training. All classes end with a guided savasana, to embrace our space element and rejuvenate the spirit. The ultimate goal is for students to leave class feeling peaceful, powerful and full of bliss.

Come prepared with an open mind and mindful approach. These classes are ALL LEVELS and 60 or 75 minutes (check the schedule).

SPA Yoga

SPA Yoga® is a slow-flow, floor-based, whole-body sensory experience based on Fluid Yoga sequencing and designed to restore and relax while opening the body for the art of the possible.

By engaging all five of the senses with calming candlelight, soothing music, aromatherapy, lots of hands-on assists, neck and shoulder massage, and a renewed awareness of taste (and sometimes chocolate!), SPA Yoga aligns practitioners with the inner wisdom of deep relaxation.

The physical practice takes time to open the body’s subtle energy and prepares students to experience new depths of awareness in an extended, guided savasana or Yoga Nidra.

Be prepared to feel like you just walked out of a SPA! These classes are ALL LEVELS, especially kind to BEGINNERS, and 75 minutes.

Yoga Bliss

We'll start with a slow warmup, move into an active breath-with-movement Vinyasa, followed by gentle stretching and full sensory relaxation. Approximately 20 minutes of more active flow and postures, 25 minutes of warmup, stretching and cool down, and 15 minutes of unwinding.


Cancer-Informed Yoga

Weekly or twice monthly, one-on-one yoga and meditation practice with a specially trained instructor for individuals in cancer treatment or recovery. These hour-long sessions are customized based on your needs, goals and emotional and physical state at that time.

Special teaching techniques and modifications make a yoga and/or meditation practice accessible to all. The physiology of breast cancer, treatment side-effects and physical and emotional changes of your journey are taken into account for each one-on-one session.

Designed for those diagnosed with breast cancer, in treatment or recovery. Other cancer diagnoses applicable. NO YOGA EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Specially reduced rates apply.
